Welcome to the Different Faces

The Different Faces are mainly influenced by the music of US West-coast groups of the 60ies and 70ies (Byrds, CSNY, Eagles, America etc.). But they also succeeded in deve-loping their own style featured on their albums The Story of Jim Crosman (1995), The More Things Change (2000) and Signature 2003).
Little History
At the end of the year 2003 the Different Faces were reduced to a duo. Due to lucky circumstances, contact with former bass player Ernst von Heeckeren van Walien was re-established. Ernst knew a drummer, Andre Nestor, who didn't play in a band at that time and so Ernst, Andre, Ritchie and Horst-Peter met to discuss a possible collaboration. They decided to play together for a few months in order to find out if their collaboration could work permanently. In March 2004, Ernst and Andre joined the Different Faces as official members.
Starbyrd
Starbyrd Definition Latin: Starbyrdus Musicas Psycoforoc). Found mostly in European countries, but migration to the colder areas of the United States has been known. The American Starbyrd is also known as Starbyrd Hillyus Billyus. Starbyrds are renowned for their wide ranging and tuneful singing in the Psycoforoc genre and can be heard over great distances. They tend to stay in small groups of two or three without any specific leader and they travel long distances in their normal routine. They have a dislike for low lying areas and prefer to nest at the top of a tree. Only two or three species of Starbyrds remain and if spotted they should be treated with the utmost care and attention to save them from extinction.
